Nahant is an island off the shore just north of Boston. Chelly spent his childhood summers here visiting his uncle's home and fishing, and it's one of the first places Bibi and Chelly vacationed together.
We met in New York City in 2005. Since then, our relationship has spanned Manhattan-Ithaca, Manhattan-New Haven, Manhattan-Brooklyn, and Brooklyn-Cambridge, including a road trip from Berkeley to New York. In 2014, we finally ended up together in Boston at the same time. Our shared sense of humor and interest in science has overcome our inability to identify a single temperature at which we are both comfortable. We have supported each other through many years of small apartments and school. We recently decided to plunge into married life after only 4132 days of dating, an uncharacteristically rash and hurried decision for both of us. We’re getting married on July 3rd. You should come.
